Surrounded by lush greenery and the gentle sounds of nature, Maris and Josh exchanged their vows in a setting that felt both intimate and grand. The serene ambiance of the park provided the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt promises and the beginning of their journey together as a married couple.
A Unique Arrival
After the ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a unique and delightful journey: a boat ride down the river to the reception venue. This scenic trip allowed the couple to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Fort Lauderdale’s waterways, and get some beautiful photos along the waterway.
The Maxwell Room Reception
The reception was held at the historic Maxwell Room, a venue known for its warm ambiance and timeless elegance. As guests arrived, they were greeted by the soothing sounds of a live guitar, played by a close friend of the couple during the cocktail hour. This personal touch added a sense of intimacy and familiarity to the gathering, making everyone feel right at home.
Once cocktail hour concluded, the celebration moved indoors, where the fun truly began. The DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. From the first dance to the last song, the atmosphere was electric with joy and celebration. The Maxwell Room’s inviting setting, combined with the lively entertainment, made for a reception that was as vibrant as it was heartfelt.
