As their wedding planner and designer, it was an absolute pleasure to bring their dreams to life and assemble a dream team that would ensure every detail was nothing short of perfection for their Bonnet House wedding.
Discovering Bonnet House
Nestled amidst lush gardens and surrounded by history, Bonnet House proved to be the perfect canvas for Cristina and Jonathan’s love story. From the moment we set foot on its grounds, Cristina and I knew we had found the ideal setting for her and Jonathan’s celebration. With its vintage charm and scenic beauty, Bonnet House set the stage for a wedding that would be remembered for a lifetime.
Bonnet House offers an old-world charm aesthetic. The ceremony area, the Alee, is lined beautifully with tropical palm trees and lush greenery. The aisle is quite dramatic and a dream come true for brides looking for a long aisle to make a grand entrance!
The garden courtyard and waterfront veranda have an understated beauty leaving room for couples to bring in their own unique style. The historic Bonnet House provides comfortable and inviting spaces for guests to gather and enjoy the celebration.
Crafting the Dream Team for this Bonnet House Wedding
As their wedding planner, I had the honor of curating a team of talented vendors who shared Cristina and Jonathan’s passion for perfection. It was important to the couple to incorporate their family cultures into their wedding day. Cristina’s family is from Puerto Rico and Jonathan’s family is Italian.
From florists to photographers, each member of the dream team brought their expertise and creativity to the table, ensuring that every aspect of the wedding was executed flawlessly. We perfected their food selections and food stations so everyone would find cuisine they would enjoy. We even had a hora loca performance, which always brings everyone out on the dance floor!
Together, we worked tirelessly to transform Cristina and Jonathan’s vision into reality, leaving no detail overlooked.
Bringing Dreams to Life
On the day of the wedding, as Cristina walked down the aisle amidst the lush landscape of the Bonnet House, it was clear that their dream wedding was coming true. From the elegant floral arrangements to the personalized touches that reflected their personalities, every element of the day spoke volumes about their love story. Surrounded by family and friends, Cristina’s brother officiated their ceremony and the happy couple exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt moments.
